When you join DPP you’ll be part of a group that finds Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) very fulfilling. Our members also enjoy networking, continuing education, mentoring and exploring resources provided by other members.
What makes a good team?
All DPP teams have completed a Pet Partners Handler Training Course – either at an in-person workshop or online. Does your animal have the aptitude to be a therapy animal? It should inspire confidence and be reliable, predictable and controllable. What makes a good AAI Team

Welcome! Denver Pet Partners (DPP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the Human-Animal Bond to improve quality of life, benefit human-animal interaction and enhance animal-assisted interaction services in Colorado.

DPP teams are all registered therapy teams with Pet Partners and volunteer throughout Colorado. Pet Partners allows 9 species of animals to be evaluated and registered.
